OUR MOST POPULAR DAY TOURS

Welcome to the Wonders of Iceland!

We are a year-round, professional tour company, catering to all who visit Iceland. Our specialty is private tours and we operate under the principles of sustainable, environmentally friendly tourism. Owner-operator, Mike Kissane is uniquely qualified as a full-time, certified Iceland Guide, holding a degree in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University. His extensive knowledge of Iceland and years of experience as a travel journalist for Fodor's Travel Guides, and as a biological photographer, combine to offer you the best in a private, memorable visit of this incredible country.
We can tailor-make tours to fit your special interests and schedule. For example, we can show you colorful geothermal areas and spectacular bird life within an hour of Reykjavík. The same can be done if you want to do some trout fishing or hiking. Iceland’s spectacular scenery and culture await you. If your interest is photography, this too, is one of our specialties, and we have organized tours for individual professionals as well as successful team workshops, with prominent nature photographers. Our goal is to maximize your enjoyment of this amazing country, with the hope that your experience and photos will encourage and inspire others to appreciate what we strive to preserve for future generations.

Giving you special treatment is what makes us special

Ever wondered what it is like to have your own private driver-guide show you the best of a destination? Ever have a question you wanted answered, but were too far back in the bus? Maybe you have a special interest that you would like information or emphasis on, but your guide was too busy giving a 'canned talk' according to a checklist. Perhaps it was too hot or too cold and you couldn't get comfortable in the vehicle. And how many times have you finished a coach tour and been dropped at a terminal, or been at the last hotel on the coach return schedule?

Discover the real benefits of private travel by touring with f-stop Tours! We give you personal attention from start to finish. Your questions and special requests are happily welcomed. And your driver-guide is in the next seat, so it's easy to communicate and be comfortable. We time your tour so you see the highlights in the best light. Why have an early winter start, when your first attraction might well then be in darkness? However, when you are picked up at your accommodation, your tour begins immediately. Likewise, at the end of the tour, you are returned directly back to your hotel or guesthouse. It costs less than you think to enjoy the benefits of a private tour--personal attention, friendly, expert service and making the best use of your valuable holiday time!
